For all of you who are crying that they are biased....try reading what they said aside from the comic, read the blog.
They actually say that the lack of long load times make up for the installation, and praise the PS3 version; while blasting the 360 version for having some graphical tearing issues.
Try reading the whole thing before jumping the gun.
I would say that three 10's in NP's history proves they are not motivated by any sort of bias. Heck, LOZ: OOC didn't even recieve a 10 from them, and it's considered the best reviewed game of all time.

You are correct, I meant to say Metroid Prime 3. SMG didn't get a 10, but MP3 did.
But still, Nintendo is very very stingy with their 10 scores, so this bodes really well for SSBB.
Between Mario Kart and SSBB plus The Force Unleashed for PS3 this summer will be awesome!

I really want Krystal in the game, and I'm thinking she might not be.
It doesn't say that on the Smash website at all.
I think that there will be several that will not be revealed until the actual game is released to be honest.
Olimar is a great addition though.
Games such as No More Heroes and Monster Hunter 3.
Both of these will hopefully be huge games in the US for the Wii. I get excited for any Suda51 project, and NMH seems like it'll be fantastic.
Yea, I would love a Strider sequel. Strider 1 & 2 for the Genesis were both fantastic games, and I hope they hit the VC soon.
And like MK said, Contra 4 just hit the DS, and it is a great sequel. The first true sequel of the Contra series since the SNES, and it is brutally hard to beat.
I agree with some of the list, but here is my issue:
WiiFit(Sorry MK) and Mario Kart are must haves to me.
But what about SSBB, which will be Nintendo's biggest game of the year next year, hands down, if not one of the best games of next year. They don't even mention it!
Plus, in my opinion, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be awesome, but I think the 360 or PS3 versions will be the best versions to get. The unique physics engine that game is ...

To be honest I am a little weary about the open city gameplay, since it's hard to see Burnout working with that type of gameplay.
I hope I'm wrong though, and this review seems to show my fears unfounded. It should be great.
It looks fantastic...it's just a matter if the final product will be able to convey the great art direction.
Metroid Prime 3 and Zack & Wiki should be on that list. For some sad reason, MP3 seems to have been forgotten by most gaming sites already. Maybe it's the release of SMG that did it. But it has been criminally left off of almost all the best of Wii end of the year lists.
Fortunately though, Zack & Wiki have been placed on most of the lists, as it should be. I truly hope the rumored sequel is happening.

Some of these companies need to really take a step back and analyze what makes a good game, and stop with this throw away junk they are rushing out. Plus, this makes two terrible games made by the History Channel.
